christopher dorner killed his first two victims. lapd was on high alert for last night's grammy show. los angeles officials also announced a $1 million reward. this comes as the search for the former officer winds down in the mountains east of l.a. meantime, l.a.'s police chief has reopened an investigation into the circumstances of dorner's firing. >> if he was to give himself up, we would be glad to listen to what he has to say. >> reporter: dorner claims he was fired for reporting a fellow officer for excessive force. the last clue investigators have of dorner's whereabouts was thursday when they found his burned pickup truck near a mountain resort. >>> a rude awakening for people in one concord neighborhood sunday morning after someone slashes at least 60 tires up and down their street. this is just one of the cars targeted on three streets in concord's valley district. you can see whoever did this did not stop at just one tire. concord police say in some cases, all four tires of the cars were cut. >>> the police commission in san francisco will hold its final hearing on tasers t

grammy awards there were some memorable performances and some surprise winners. teresa garcia is in los angeles with all the highlights. teresa, good morning. >> reporter: good morning, anne-marie. there was indeed plenty of security behind the scenes and on the streets, around obviously the manhunt was on the minds of law enforcement, but, remember this was a night to party. there were no issues in that sense, and at this year's grammys, there were so many top acts it really varied in musical style and the recording academy rewarded quite a range of them. the grammys lived up to its reputation for being unpredictable when mumford & sons took home the album of the year. >> we figured we weren't going to win anything because the black keys have been sweeping up all day and deservedly so. >> reporter: dan yore back of the black keys took home four gram oh phones including producer of the year and three in the rock categories. fun. made a splash as well. the trio made a splash as well. >> and the grammys go to "we are young." >> she said "we," and we were like, could it be us? >> reporter:

grammy al ymys will be hand in music. our michelle turner joins us live from los angeles with that manhunt of that ex-cop going on. so is that influencing security there? >> reporter: yeah, you know, that story has reached all the way here to the grammys, martin. there have been reports out that because of the search for christopher dorner that security will be extra tight. we reached out to officials at the staples center which house the grammys. the only thing they would tell us is they do not comment on their security procedures. i can tell you just from observing in the time i've been here that there is definitely a tight security presence. there always is, but there could be an increase in security here. now, if other thing, the other talker on this grammy red carpet is apparently there's a grammy dress code that is hoped to be in effect this year. cbs put out a memo for this year's grammys, basically asking for people to cover up. now, they're talking about a rock 'n' roll show here, martin, so i'm not sure how well that's going to go over. in fact, i've already seen my first
